Kayak to Koh Phi, the island just offshore, explore the nearby caves and rivers and fishing villages, take a tour to see the pink dolphins that inhabit the bay, or even try to spot them from the villa!
Khanom is a tourist beach town located 20 minutes by car from the House. With beach side restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets, and a 10 Kilometer mostly undeveloped beach that backs a national park, it makes for an easy and satisfying day of exploring. Stop at the caves along the drive or families will enjoy the local sheep farm 5k from the villa which also boasts an inflatable water park and a beautiful river on the grounds of an eco tourism recreation area, which is safe for swimming.
Ko Pha Ngan is renowned for its monthly Full Moon Party. This boisterous night-long celebration, which is tied to the lunar calendar, draws revelers to its southeastern peninsula, Haad Rin. Easliy accessable from the villa by car ferry (2.5hours) or high speed catamaran (1 hour). The car ferry piers of Seatran and Raja are only 2kilometers from Spirit House. Lompraya, the high speed catamaran, operates from Laem Toad pier, 8 kilometers from the villa.
Koh Samui, Thailand’s second largest island, is 35 kilometers across the BanDon bay from Nang Kham Beach. The ferry piers are only 2 k from Spirit House. Samui is 1.5 hours by car ferry (45min by high speed catamaran).
